Your saved layouts remain available to view and manage. Saving new layouts and restoring them require a license after the 14-day trial. There is no automatic charge.
Workspace Atlas restores window positions and sizes. Each app controls which documents and windows it opens; reopening specific files or browser tabs is not guaranteed. macOS Spaces, native full-screen windows, and some app size restrictions can limit restoration.
macOS requires this permission to read and move other apps’ windows. You can revoke it at any time in System Settings, but window restoration will stop working.
Saved layouts stay on your Mac. They include app and window details needed for restoration. License checks use a license key and an installation identifier; they do not send your layouts or window titles to Lemon Squeezy.
Once paid activation is available, an activated Mac can work offline for up to 30 days after a successful license check. An internet connection is needed to activate and periodically validate the license.
The planned $9.99 license covers personal use on up to two Macs. Once purchasing is available, you’ll enter your license key in Workspace Atlas. Deactivate a Mac before moving its activation to another computer.
